Livingstone

Livingston is a small town that is truly different from the rest of Guatemala. It is a place where one can observe an amazing mixture of several cultures: Garifuna, Afro-Caribbean, Maya.

The automobile is not very present in Livingston because of the very narrow streets. However, the coco taxis criss-cross the avenues and make their petrol machines vibrate. The small town center is closed to vehicles, which makes the experience more pleasant.
I would like to visit a city without motors one day!!!
