Discover the history of Sherbrooke. This wonderful city in the Eastern Townships in Estrie.
The departure takes place at Jacques-Cartier Park
The route runs along the Magog River and Lac-des-Nations in Sherbrooke.
We are going to see the Magog River Gorge.
Visit to a Hydro-Sherbrooke dam
Visit the city center, the city hall, the old Winter prison.

The route passes near the Paton dam, then we follow the nature trail in the heart of the Sherbrooke gorge.

We will pass by Dufferin Street, the old Commercial Street where trams and stagecoaches passed at one time.

We will pass by Wellington Street, this important street which was buzzing with activity at one time.

We will see the Sherbrooke Cenotaph, a monument in the form of the angel Gabriel. It was erected in memory of the combatants who went to war in 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.

Then we will visit the railway bridge, the Jacques-Cartier Bridge in Sherbrooke. We will return to Jacques-Cartier Park.
